Colour menus can read like a foreign language. Regrowth only, T-section, root melt: they all sound similar, but they do different jobs, and booking the right one saves you time and money.
A regrowth-only service colours just your roots, up to a set amount of product. It's for keeping your colour consistent when your lengths are fine. A T-section colour focuses on the hair along your part and around your hairline, where regrowth shows most. A root melt blends your roots into the rest of your colour with a soft, gradual shade, so you don't get a harsh line as it grows out.
Which is which
• Regrowth only: you want to cover roots and keep everything else as is
• T-section: your regrowth is mostly at the part and hairline, and you're short on time
• Root melt: you want a softer, lived-in look that grows out gracefully
• Full colour: your lengths have faded and need refreshing too
If you're not sure which one fits, describe what's bothering you about your hair and we'll recommend one. We'd rather match the service to your hair than upsell you.
