When you book a haircut, you're often asked to choose between a trim and a restyle, and it's not always obvious which one you need. Pick the wrong one and you either pay for more than necessary or end up with a cut that's too limited for what you wanted.
A trim keeps your existing shape in good order. It's for hair you're already happy with, where you want to remove ends and keep things tidy. Our trims include a wash, cut and blow wave, with the price based on how long your hair is. A restyle is for when you want something different: a new length, a new fringe, a new shape altogether. It takes longer because there's more thinking involved, and we'll spend time talking it through first.
A quick test
• Happy with your shape but it's grown out: book a trim
• Want a different look, or the shape no longer works: book a restyle
• Not sure: tell us when you book and we'll allow enough time
• Planning a big change: bring photos, and be open to a conversation
If you're unsure, it's much better to say so than to guess. A good stylist would rather talk first than cut something you'll regret.
