Westminster Residents: Your Nearest Quality Salon Is in Dianella

Westminster is a quiet residential suburb in Perth's northern corridor, and like a lot of the suburbs in this part of the city, the local options for hair can feel a bit limited. If you've been going to the same place out of habit rather than genuine preference, it might be time to try something different.

Alex Royer Salon is in Dianella — about ten minutes from most of Westminster. We're a small team and we take the work seriously. Here's what we actually offer.

What We're Known For

Colour is probably the thing we hear about most from new clients who came specifically because of a recommendation. Not just the quality of the result, but the process — the consultation that actually goes somewhere, the honest conversation about what's achievable, the follow-through that matches what was discussed.

We use Keune Tinta and Semi colour, which is PPD free. We use the Keune So Pure retail range, which is paraben free, sulfate free, cruelty free, and vegan friendly. These aren't premium add-ons — they're the baseline products we've chosen because we believe in them.

The Environment

We're a proudly LGBTQI+ friendly salon and we work hard to make the space judgment-free for everyone who comes in. That shows up in the way the team operates and the conversations that happen in the salon — it's not an attitude that gets switched on for certain clients and off for others. It's consistent.

Some of our Westminster clients specifically chose us because of this. Others just found that the atmosphere was more relaxed than they'd experienced elsewhere.
