The Nollamara Hairdresser Question — Here's Our Answer

We get clients from Nollamara fairly regularly. They usually find us through word of mouth or by searching for a hairdresser nearby and clicking through to see what we're actually about. What most of them say, once they've been in, is some version of: why didn't I come here sooner.

We're on Bayley Street in Dianella — from most of Nollamara, that's a ten minute drive at most. For some parts of the suburb, less. It's not around the corner, but it's close enough that once you find a stylist you trust, the distance stops being a consideration.

What We Do and How We Do It

We're a full-service hair salon. Cuts for everyone — men, women, nonbinary clients, kids who are old enough to sit in the chair. Colour services across the full range, from a simple root touch-up to a full balayage or colour correction job. Treatments, blow-drys, styling. Extensions by consultation.

The colour is what we're probably most known for among our regulars. We use Keune Tinta and Semi colour, which are PPD free. PPD is the compound in most traditional hair dyes that causes allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Some people know they're sensitive. Others find out the hard way after years of using standard colour. Going PPD free removes that risk without any compromise on the quality or longevity of the colour result.

Why the Environment Matters as Much as the Technical Skill

We're a proudly LGBTQI+ friendly and judgment-free salon. For some clients this is the most important thing on the list. For others it's background context that makes the whole experience feel more relaxed without them necessarily being able to put a finger on why. Either way, it shapes how the salon feels when you walk in — and that feeling is something clients consistently mention when they tell friends about us.

You shouldn't have to brace yourself before walking into a hairdresser. You should be able to sit in the chair and relax. That's what we're going for.
